AMP Community Arts Program (AMPCAP’s) mission is to utilize culture, music, poetry, and various artistic forms, which offer alternatives that challenge, stimulate, channel, and develop youth into model citizens in society. In addition, to provide an opportunity for children, to receive individualized instruction and guidance from local area professionals and instructors in the arts.

AMPCAP is a multi-component arts program for youth at risk of delinquency and other problem behaviors (e.g., substance abuse, teen pregnancy, truancy, and dropping out of school) and economically disadvantaged youth.

Our program includes (1) training in pre-employment skills, interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution education during after-school hours and the summer months and (2) arrangements during the summer for a job or paid internship for the youth.

This program will help to promote a climate that allows for the development of personal goals and high expectations, respect for self and others, personal accountability for one's own actions, well-earned pride in accomplishments, a strong work ethic, and an understanding of how academic success can lead to expanded career options.

AMP Community Arts is organized to operate exclusively as a 501c3 not-for-profit youth arts program.

Our Goal is to raise money to assist and develop our young artist to run their own business with your help.
